Lean how to fix SHAREit repeated crashes?
SHAREit is an app that allows the users to send and/or receive files from one user to the other. The file types may include – videos, photos, documents, apps, games and even miscellaneous files. It is available on an array of devices like Android, iOS, Windows and Mac. The best thing about SHAREit is that it does not require any physical transmission media (cables). Thus, it is somewhat like Bluetooth transfer, but a lot faster (10x). However, after the recent update, a lot of users have started to face an issue with the app. Some users claim that the SHAREit app crashes or restarts and it gets annoying. No need to worry as your device is perfectly fine. It is a very common problem and below mentioned are the ways to fix the issue.
Steps to Fix SHAREit Repeated Crashes –
The easiest fix for the app crashing is to clear its cache. Cache refers to the in-app memory that often loads up some faulty file. Deleting this faulty file can fix a lot of in-app issues. It is an easy process and can be done under a minute. However, it is advised to ensure that you have at least 15% battery on your device before you proceed. Device restarting or turning off during cache cleaning process may harm the app (and the device).
- On your device, go to Settings.
- Go to Apps and Notifications > Apps > SHAREit >
- Go to Clear Cache option and tap on it. This will clear the app cache.
- Once you have cleared the cache, you can run SHAREit again.
About SHAREit Cache
Deleting the cache memory has proven to be beneficial and people have not faced issues after that. The data errors or other sorts of error that were linked get fixed once you delete the cache. Please note that deleting cache and clearing storage are two entirely different methods. If you delete storage for an app (SHAREit), it will delete every single defaults and permissions. However, clearing the cache gets rid of the non-volatile run-time memory that causes apps to crash. So, in case of SHAREit app crashing, be sure to clear its cache once.
